CEO of Mentalwell, PhD researcher at the London School of Economics, and lifelong cyclist.
I run Mentalwell, where we're building better ways to diagnose and treat ADHD. I'm also doing a PhD on why people think about crypto the way they do.
I've been starting companies for about ten years now. A few of them worked. Most of what I build involves machine learning in some form, usually in health-tech, travel, or compliance. I like taking research ideas and turning them into things people actually use.
Current Interests
I study how people talk and think about money. I'm particularly interested in how different institutions—PE, VC, the Fed—talk about economics, and how people understand and conceptualise cryptocurrency.
The work mixes large-scale text analysis with experiments on how people actually behave when making financial decisions.
I've been riding bikes since I was a kid. These days I'm drawn to the long ones: multi-day routes, no support vehicle, just what fits in my bags. The suffering is part of the appeal. So is the quiet.
The Far Ride
Multi-day adventure
North London Dirt
Gravel exploration
I like talking to people who are thinking about the same things I am. If you're working on something in health-tech, doing research on crypto or behavioural economics, or just want to swap notes on a long ride you're planning, reach out.
I also occasionally advise early-stage startups, but honestly I'm more interested in the conversation than the consulting.
